この馬の父Queen's Hussar クイーンズハッサーは８ハロンまでのスピード馬、その父March Past マーチパストも８ハロンまでの馬、母の父Vilmorin ヴィルモーリンはスプリンター、祖母の父Fair Trial フェアトライアルは10ハロンは持ったが本質的には、一流のスピードを基本にしたスピード馬である。
母系の特徴――母の父Prince Chevalier プリンスシュヴァリエはフランス・ダービー馬、祖母の父Horus ホルスはキングエドワードVIＳ(12ハロン・Ｇ２)を勝ったステイヤーで母系は明らかにスタミナが圧倒的に優勢な血統である。

またクロス馬の集計が示す通り、 IV のBrazen Molly ブレイズンモリーの血統の影響度の評価点18が示す通り、圧倒的に強い。次に影響力が強いのは III のPrince Chevalier プリンスシュヴァリエの血統（影響度の評価点７）、従ってこれらの数値が示すようにスタミナ系の母系の血統の影響が父方のスピード血統よりも遥かに強い影響力を持っているために、この馬は12ハロンを克服してキングジョージVI・クインエリザベスＳを勝つことができたのであるが、このBrigadier Gerard ブリガディアジェラードが12ハロンを克服できた要因として母の父Prince Chevalier プリンスシュヴァリエの影響力によるものだ、とこれまでの全ての評論家が断定していた。
しかし、上記の分析表が示す通り、実際に圧倒的に影響力を持っていたのは母方の祖母Brazen Molly ブレイズンモリーの血統であった。
